A standard entry-level Husqvarna VH5 400 mm diamond blade is supplied. There is no separate daily rental fee for this standard blade. All blade wear is charged separately.
Standard blade wear: $20 per mm, including GST. Charged in 0.5 mm increments at $10 per increment, rounded up. No blade wear allowance is included. Blade segment height is measured before and after hire; charges apply to the reduction in segment height. Calculate wear over the full hire period, then round up once on return.
Multiple blade options available
The included Husqvarna VH5 is our standard entry-level diamond blade. Other blades are available to suit different materials and cutting requirements. Please tell us what you intend to cut so we can recommend the appropriate option. Alternative blades may have different rental and/or wear charges. Any additional charges will be quoted and agreed before hire. The advertised $20/mm wear rate applies only to the standard entry-level VH5 blade.

Before operating the Husqvarna K970 Mark III, all hirers and operators must read and understand the manufacturer’s operating and safety instructions and receive the required MOR-LEC HIRE equipment handover.

Operators must follow all manufacturer instructions regarding personal protective equipment, blade selection, blade inspection, guarding, kickback, dust suppression, refuelling and safe cutting procedures. The manufacturer’s operator manual takes precedence over any simplified information displayed on the MOR-LEC HIRE website.
