Contact details (name, phone, email), billing and delivery addresses, business name and ABN, driver licence details where required to verify a hire, booking and hire history, invoices and payment records, and property details where we perform smoke alarm compliance work.
To quote, book and deliver equipment hire; to verify identity and eligibility to hire; to issue invoices and receipts and to meet taxation and record-keeping obligations; to carry out and certify smoke alarm inspections; and to contact you about your bookings.
We do not store credit card numbers. Card payments, where offered, are processed by our payment provider using their secure tokenised systems.
Our accounting provider (Xero) for invoicing, our email provider for booking and invoice notifications, and managing agents or property owners where a smoke alarm compliance certificate relates to their property. We do not sell your information.
Customer records and documents are held in access-controlled databases and private file storage. Access is restricted to your own account and authorised Mor-Lec staff. Documents such as certificates and invoices are served through time-limited secure links, not public URLs.
Financial, booking and compliance records are retained as required by Australian law (generally at least seven years). Closing your customer account does not delete those records, but we will detach or anonymise personal details where we are permitted to do so.
You can view and update your details at any time in My Account. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, email mor-lec1@bigpond.com.
We only send booking, invoice and compliance related messages. We do not send marketing emails without your consent, and every such email includes an unsubscribe link.
